Finally a finish to show!!!

Finished this a while back. It is a design my Saolya, she did it as a SAL. I had fun doing this one as I was born in the year of the Dragon and am now 60.  I am in the process of getting it ready to be framed.

I will have more as soon as I get my camera going and get the images compressed for publishing.

Christmas in July!!!!!

I finally got my new computer and it was worth waiting for. Now to get the pics of things stitched and exchanges posted.

I am still off line. I have to borrow a computer every so often to check in. My computer is almost finished being built. The tech had a family emergency and I know it may be a while longer. A family member is in the final stages of cancer and the family is gathering around. Sorry, for no posts, please bear with me.

Missing in Action!!

That's me, I have been sick ever since I got my computer back. Really sick. Got a bug and then a migraine and then my Fibro stood up and started kicking. It has been a week since I have even thought about going online.

I am getting a NEW computer in about 2 weeks. Had enough saved and ordered it yesterday.

I can't upload any photos from my camera to the computer so until the new one gets here no pics. I will try and have something to blog about besides illness and computer problems soon.

Spring Scissor Exchange Received!!!

This is the Exchange I received from my partner. She is Abi Gurden from The Stitch Specialists group on Yahoo. She designed the piece and named it Kate's Butterflies. I am blessed to say the least. It also included a purple pair of stork scissors. I took the pics from her as my camera is still not available. I am slowly getting settled and hope to have some more news later.

Have Arrived!!!

Well, I have arrived, unpacked the car, rested, and the internet is up and running!!!!!!! I can't stitch yet but, I still need to get settled in my room and such. Soooo, maybe next week I will have a space to stitch. Until then, THE WEATHER IS GREAT!!!!!

On the road again!!!

Well, I am almost packed and the car is waiting to be filled. I will leave Arizona  on Thursday morning and arrive at my destination on Friday morning. I will spend Thursday evening with my Aunt in Taft,Ca. I will miss my grandson and family, and friends. But, I will survive the summer more readily.

I am packing to move, so no stitching or computer for the next week or so. Not sure when the internet will be turned on so, may be off line for a while.
